The classic glory - Concours of Elegance 2019, Hampton Court Palace, UK


Dear readers, summer vacation might just over soon, yet, for some of the classic car aficionado and gentlemen, this September might just as joyous and celebrating like the vacation has never end, why? That’s because a prominent, once-a-year classic car event is just around the corner in the UK, yes, I am talking about the grandiose Concours of Elegance 2019!


Taking place in the magnificent and historic Hampton Court Palace from 6th to 8th September 2019, this prominent classic car event has become one of the most impressive exhibiting ground for the rarest and classic automotive masterpieces, that included some of the most famous brands in the world such as Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Bugatti and Lamborghini, parade by their passionate owner and display their beloved automobile to all the sophisticated classic car connoisseur and like-minded aficionados, to gather around and revisit some of the bygone glory and beauty of these exquisite cars, up-close and personal to see the details from the architectural beauty from the outside, to the meticulous and luxurious engineering details of the inside of the car.


The highlight of this year, will be the display of the impeccable and highly original Ballot 3/8 LC, which hidden away for many years in England and only recently rediscovered; in a nutshell, this Ballot was the exact car that won the very first Italian Grand Prix back in 1921! On the other hand, the first ever Jaguar D-Type, the 15th E-Type built, or the legendary McLaren F1 parked next to a unique McLaren P1 GTR ‘Beco’ inspired by racing driver, Ayrton Senna, which will be an impressive experience for some of the vintage race car connoisseurs.


Meanwhile another special feature for this year will be a gathering of a number of Ferrari 199 models, which is the only car to ever won the Le Man 24 Hours, the Mille Miglia and the Spa 24 Hours races, in addition, taking advantage of the celebration of its Centenary of the legendary design house Zagato, guests can also have a browse one example of each of its gorgeous masterpieces created in partnership with Aston Martin.


Apart from these remarkable and discreetly selected classic cars, Concours of Elegance UK also provide a unique, stylish and luxurious atmosphere for this year’s event, that includes fine-dining restaurant by Tom Aikens, refined champagne by the esteemed French Champagne house, Charles Heidsieck, also, pop-up boutiques from fine horologists A. Lange & Söhne, as well as classic fashion brand Mason and Sons. With all these glamour, classical and stylish elements gathered in one place, how can one resist the charm and luxurious experience from this classic car event of the year?
