Classic car rally - Concours of Elegance UK 2021

Dear readers, I do hope that you all had a wonderful and relaxing summer break, while mine is a bit tricky this year, the holiday almost comes to an end. Wrapping up the summer holiday doesn’t mean that we have to throw away our enjoyment of art of living, instead, I am much looking forward to one of the most significant event of the year – Concours of Elegance UK 2021, which will take place in Hampton Court Palace, from 3rd to 5th September 2021.

As one of the most spectacular car show for all classic car fans and connoisseurs, it’s the event that one cannot miss; in honor of the Her Majesty The Queen’s 95th birthday, this year’s Concours of Elegance will host a special display of 95 British cars, with one from each year of Her Majesty The Queen’s life. In addition, a brand new feature for this year ‘30UNDER30’, which aims to attract the next-generation of motoring enthusiast, to let the young car owners to be part of the community, a wonderful opportunity to show their passion about protecting and preserving automotive history.

The ‘30UNDER30’ Concours will gather 30 cars and owners, split over six different classes covering 99 years of the automobile, which included: ‘Pioneer Petrolheads (1900 – 1939)’, ‘Best of British (1940 – 1979)’, ‘Italian Stallions (1940 – 1979)’, ‘French Fancies (1940 – 1979)’, ‘American Muscle (1940 – 1979)’, & ‘Leg Warmers & Spice Girls (1980 – 1999)’, it seems it will be very fascinating to see all these cars coming from different eras, and rallying by their owners with great style and beauty.

Another highlight of this year’s Concours of Elegance, it will be the showcase of the Bugatti Type 59, one of the most beautiful racing cars in existence, unlike many cars of its time, the Type 59 opted for a shape with the width of a two-seater so the driver could sit low next to the gearbox, apart from that, every detail of the car is just perfection.

Concours of Elegance remains as an occasion of pure luxury, with champagne provided by Charles Heidsieck, picnics by Fortnum & Mason, live stage interviews with Chubb Insurance, hosted by Jodie Kidd, and a collection of art, jewelry and fashion displays. Presenting Partner, A. Lange & Söhne, recently confirmed to support the event for a further three years, will continue to showcase some of its most intricate timepieces.

In case if you don’t have any plans in early next month, perhaps this will interest you, so, mark your calendar please.
